MCU Spider-Man 4: 8 Things We Need To See

3. Spider-Man Vs. A Younger Villain

While the finale battle between Spider-Man and their biggest foes in No Way Home was a massive fan-pleasing spectacle, one thing became glaringly obvious – the age gap between Peter Parker (all versions of him) and the villains.

For example, Spider-Man’s big screen villains so far have included his best friend’s father (Green Goblin), his school professor (Lizard), mentor and scientist (Doc Ock), his school crush’s dad (Vulture), and even those criminals that Peter doesn’t personally know (Electro and Sandman) are at least a couple decades older than the webslinger.

As we witnessed in No Way Home, Doc Ock was practically useless without control of his arms, and Electro without electricity is well, more like a powercut.

It would be interesting to see a younger villain in Spider-Man 4 with powers that are less reliant on technology or access to external forces.

Of course, age doesn’t really matter, but it could add a more emotional element to see Peter Parker have to battle someone nearer his own age, maybe even someone that he’s grown up with.

Which very conveniently brings us to the next point…
