MCU Spider-Man 4: 8 Things We Need To See
4. Street-Level MCU Character Cameos
Previous MCU Spider-Man movies have seen huge cameos from Iron Man, Pepper Potts, Captain America, Nick Fury and Maria Hill to name but a few.
Next time around it would be good to keep the spotlight more on Spider-Man than his Avengers level pals, perhaps using the New York setting as a chance to introduce audiences to some less familiar Marvel faces and allow Spider-Man to get back to protecting the city rather than the multiverse.
Now that Daredevil is back in the MCU thanks to a cameo of Matt Murdock in lawyer mode in No Way Home, it’s only a matter of time before other New York street-level crimefighters like Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist are brought into the picture.
Marvel reportedly had to wait two years after the cancellation of the Netflix series to be able to use those characters, and while they might not be famous enough for their own big screen outing, they could prove handy accomplices to Spider-Man.
Or look at the already confirmed new characters of Ms. Marvel and America Chavez to see who Spidey’s next allies could be.
