3. Cyclops - Jim Lee

Of all the characters due a shot at redemption in Marvel's inevitable X-Men reboot, Cyclops is by far the most deserving. Scott Summers was completely wasted in Fox's movies, and not once did he ever look the part.

Summers is the X-Men's leader, and deserves an on screen outfit that inspires confidence. Fortunately for Marvel Studios the character has actually dressed up in some of the greatest X-Men outfits of all time, the most famous being Jim Lee's blue and yellow get-up that came during the team's peak in the early nineties.

Cyc' has since gone on to adopt various costumes since, including a great one in Astonishing X-Men, but it's Lee's design that takes the cake. Marvel may have to drop the yellow undies for the big screen, but the classic blend of blue and yellow is too iconic to pass-up (even if it means they have to explain what the belt and straps are for).
