Men In Black International Review: 2 Ups & 7 Downs

3. The Totally Wasted Supporting Cast

Despite its many, many flaws, this film has amassed quite the impressive supporting cast, so it's a massive shame they're all so thoroughly wasted in mediocre roles.

First up, we have Liam Neeson as High T, the head of the UK MiB branch, who despite being perfectly cast in such a role isn't given much to do beyond spitting exposition at our leads.

Emma Thompson meanwhile returns for a few scattered minutes of screen time as Agent O, and though she seems game, her curtailed role barely makes a dent.

Elsewhere Rafe Spall is squandered as the irritating Agent C, and Rebecca Ferguson shows up for maybe 10 thankless minutes in the movie's third act as an intergalactic arms dealer.

Finally, though Tim Blaney briefly resurfaces to voice Frank the Pug in an early scene, this is ultimately just a one-off cameo, and the series' beloved sidekick is sadly never seen again.
