4. Himself - Annie (2014)
Theres very little you can criticise about the authenticity of Foxs brief performance as himself in the abominable remake of the classic musical : hes recognisably Michael J Fox, theres no escaping it. But thats not the issue here. The point - like all of the cameos (and all of the cameos in the equally awful Movie 43) - is that Foxs agreement to play any part in this travesty reflects horribly on his CV and his decision making ability. Quite what anyone thought they could ever gain from remaking an untouchable cult gem is anyones guess, but then it never stopped RoboCop or Total Recall or Rollerball from happening. Its just a horrible shame that Annie is the last thing the man behind Marty McFly has done professionally.
