Morbius: 21 WTF Moments

Shortly before the final battle, Michael's partner Martine is kidnapped by Milo, who then attacks her in an attempt to lure out Michael.

Michael eventually makes it to a mortally wounded Martine, but just before she dies she kisses Michael and bites his lip, causing some of his blood to drip into her mouth.

This prompts Michael to bite on her neck and feed on her, after which he heads off to battle Milo. At the very end of the film, though, as Michael flies through the sky, we catch a brief glimpse of Martine awakening, having seemingly been turned into a vampire and craving blood herself.

As sequel-bait goes it certainly could be worse, especially as Adria Arjona does a solid job in a totally thankless role. It makes more sense than the credits scenes that follow, at least...
