A throwaway line on a chat show it may have been, but American satirist and human swear-jar Louis CK has already taken it upon himself to seek out a role in the film. Bumping into Weaver as she did her rounds on the press tour for Chappie, CK asked her point blank about Alien 5. Getting what he must have interpreted to have been positive noises in return, he told her that "I want to be in it, and I want to die in a terrible way". Weaver, so the story goes, tells him that she's sure something can be arranged. He's done films before of course, but nothing quite as Hollywood as getting his head torn off/bowls ripped out/eyes blown up (delete as appropriate) in an Alien film. Whilst it's probably little more than an anecdote shared between two people working in showbiz, this conversation and lack of any other names mentioned puts Louis CK as third billing on the hypothetical poster - behind Weaver and Beihn.
