2. Tom Holland
After two unsuccessful attempts studios finally managed to cast someone who looks like a teenager as Spider-man. However Holland is a relatively unknown commodity, he doesnt have a lot of previous work and hes young-only 19 years old. But he has already worked extensively with big set pieces and CGI on Ron Howard's The Heart of the Sea and he has done a solid amount of voice work, which is perfect for a character who's face will be covered for most of his time on screen. However, luckily he won't be asked to immediately carry a film on his own, as reports of Holland reporting to the set of Civil War have been released. A smart move by the studio, it will allow Holland to ease into the MCU, giving him time to develop as an actor and a character. At the same time it almost doesnt even matter who was cast. Spider-man is coming to Marvel! Thats whats important. After a long copyright battle Marvel has gotten its hands on a hero more popular than any of their current stars were in the beginning. And everyone wins. Ever since the conception of the MCU Spider-man has been the largest hole, and the character fans wanted to see the most. Well that day is almost here, and if you listen closely you can here the faint sound of trumpets welcoming our long lost hero to the big screen once more.
