8. Jeff Bridges
With his grizzly, yet somehow distinguished demeanour of late (its the beard lets call it hobo chic), I cant stop imagining that Jeff Bridges would be a perfect Jim Gordon casting choice. Firstly, his actual ability to act is often astonishing. Id wager one of the only reasons to not cast him as Jim Gordon would be that theres every chance hed steal the spotlight from Batman, and that just wouldnt do. That said, Jim Gordon is an extremely important character in the Batman Universe even more so than Nolan would have you. I cant help but feel that an actor like Bridges would bring the sense of gravitas and solemnity that were familiar with from the comic book version to his turn as Gothams second favourite Crime Fighter.
