New Batman Movie: 10 Ways to Reboot Nolan’s Batman Continuity

5. Dent Lives!

I can€™t be the only one who spent the entire gap between The Dark Knight and TDKR adamantly sure that Harvey €˜Two Face€™ Dent wasn€™t really dead. After all, I read comic books, meaning I€™m used to dead not really meaning dead but merely absent for a while. But sure enough, as the TDKR hurtled toward its credits, I was forced to face the fact that, if he wasn€™t dead, Nolan had finished with him at least. We know for sure that Nolan has washed his hands of the property, and we know that Bale has too, but no one ever said anything about Aaron Eckhart. So if any new writer/director combo were to look at ways to reboot Nolan€™s continuity, surely the whole Batman vs. Two Face rivalry could be easily reignited without too much expositional effort; he could quite simply have faked his death and gone into hiding to bide his time. I can€™t be the only one who would pay good money to see a new Batman movie with Two Face as the main villain, can I?
