New THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Videos Show Epic Chase
Spoiler alert! Christopher Nolan is still filming The Dark Knight Rises in Los Angeles and we have video footage of what could be a direct scene continuation from The Dark Knight.
Christopher Nolan is still filming The Dark Knight Rises in Los Angeles and a Batman-News.com reader seems to have video footage from Saturday night's shooting of a scene that could be a direct continuation from The Dark Knight as dozens and dozens (literally) of police vehicles chase the Batpod. As Gordon says at the end of the last film they have to chase Batman and that seems to be exactly what is going down here. Could it be a return to that fateful night when Harvey Dent's murder spree came to an end with Batman doing something he would never do, taking a life. "All it took was a little push" as The Joker says. Or it could just be this is a scene set well into The Dark Knight Rises film as presumably Batman will still be a wanted fugitive? We don't know except the scene looks awesome and we can't wait to find out how it all pieces together. For the record as a lot of people are speculating this is the opening scene of the new film. This may turn out to be true but we should note that we were previously told the opening shot would be Christian Bale's Batman re-discovering the Batcave. If that is true, Nolan could be up to his tricks for a non-linear picture ala Batman Begins, but again that's just speculation.
