Fans are hopeful that we'll be getting our first look at Henry Cavill's (now lamentably 'tacheless) Superman, who's also billed to take on a villainous role in the film at some point. Whether or not that spoils the release itself is open to interpretation, but - considering we've already seen spoilers galore online for months now - it's doubtful that there's a fan out there unaware of the character's impending return.
There's an awful lot riding on Warner Bros.' first big superhero team-up, with Wonder Woman being the DCEU's sole critical success so far. We've been getting mixed signals regarding the project for a while now, and although big changes have been promised for the shared universe going forward, it's really difficult to discern if Justice League will deliver the goods.
If this trailer turns up the hype factor, then the momentum should, ideally, be with the company. Roll on Sunday (and later November).

He started his own podcast, We Love Dad Movies, in 2022, and has contributed several written pieces to the Eisner-nominated comics website Shelfdust as well.
In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
