Next James Bond Film: 10 Predictions For Post-Daniel Craig Era

7. A Shorter Run For The New Bond

It's truly staggering to consider just how long Daniel Craig's run as Bond has been - the span of time between Casino Royale and No Time to Die was just shy of 15 years, and if you count pre-production, the Craig era really lasted around 17 years.

Given that Bond films have historically been released 2-3 years apart, the Craig films thoroughly bucked the average, what with the four-year gap between Quantum of Solace and Skyfall, and the eye-watering six-year gap between Spectre and No Time to Die.

There were obviously external factors involved in the latter case, but one suspects Barbara Broccoli and co. will prefer to hit the ground running with the next era of Bond and not leave audiences waiting quite so long between each film.

Expect 2-3 years to once again become the standard period between Bond films, and for the next Bond's tenure to wrap up decidedly quicker than Craig's.

While we can only speculate on how many films the new Bond might last for, it's probably reasonable to expect the next actor to stick around for roughly a decade, assuming there aren't any unexpected production hiccups.
