Next James Bond Film: 10 Predictions For Post-Daniel Craig Era

6. Phoebe Waller-Bridge Returns To Co-Write Several Films

One of the most inspired creative decisions in No Time to Die was bringing Fleabag writer-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge aboard to "polish" the script.

Though initial reports suggested she was hired at the behest of Daniel Craig to punch up the female characters' dialogue and add humour to screenplay, it's since been reported that she actually had far more input on the direction of the story.

Anyone familiar with Waller-Bridge's work will find her creative DNA all over the film, both in the witticisms and amusing banter and also the film's more enlightened attitude towards women.

These aspects of the film are among its most praised, and so it feels rather likely that Waller-Bridge will be invited back to help co-write at least another Bond film or two.

After all, successful Bond writers have a habit of returning for future films, and with Waller-Bridge being just the second credited female screenwriter in the entire series - behind Dr. No and From Russia with Love's Johanna Harwood - it would feel like a major misstep not to bring her back for what comes next.

Obviously Waller-Bridge is a busy, in-demand talent, but as long as she's available, this should be a no-brainer decision.
