What If Star-Lord's Plan Worked?

Fans are probably begging for this one, seeing as everyone was so frustrated at Star-Lord for messing up his own plan. Rightfully so, after all if it wasn't for Star-Lord's outburst the team would have been successful in removing the gauntlet and stopping Thanos before he could even collect all the stones.

The question is why did Dr.Strange say nothing, seeing as he had already looked into the future? Evidence suggests that something even worse would happen if they did get the gauntlet off of Thanos.

That's what this What If episode should explore. What would actually happen if they were able to get the gauntlet away from Thanos? What chain of events would this trigger that could be worse than what already happened? Sure you could make the argument that Strange saw no alternative, but considering he looked at over fourteen million different outcomes, it's safe to assume that in at least a few the group were able to pull of Star-Lord's plan.

Would someone worse get their hands on the gauntlet? Would one of the heroes be tempted by the power and get carried away? Marvel should let audiences see what could have been so they can stop picking on Star-Lord.
