Will Win: Dallas Buyers Club Should Win: Jackass: Bad Grandpa Surprise Win: Jackass: Bad Grandpa Only 3 nominees here, and it looks like another win for Dallas Buyers Club! Most of the transformation of McConaughey and Leto is down to their weight-loss, but obvious stellar work in this field helped aid the transition into their characters. There's no real reason why the movie won't win this award when it's done a very good job in this respect. But hopefully Jackass: Bad Grandpa will win because the makeup was really good an, frankly, it would be hilarious for a Jackass film to win an Oscar. Because then they can boast being an Academy Award-Winning franchise! and Dallas Buyers Club is going to win other awards anyway, so they might as well let someone else have this one.
