Oscars 2024: 20 Insanely Early Predictions

It's fair to say that the Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling most often goes to the movie with the "most" makeup - as again evidenced this year by The Whale's win for transforming Brendan Fraser into a morbidly obese man.

With that logic in mind, the easy early frontrunner for the award this coming year is Maestro, which has deployed comprehensive makeup effects to transform Bradley Cooper into Leonard Bernstein in his twilight years.

Though there has been some controversy about Cooper's natural nose being altered to more closely resemble the Jewish Bernstein, the makeup is certainly effective in making Cooper look around 20 years older.
