Pacific Rim: Uprising - Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best

6. Vik

Pacific Rim Uprising Vik
Universal

Vik (Ivanna Sakhno) is the only supporting cadet character who makes any sort of impression in the film, and that's not really saying much.

She's Russian, she doesn't like being called Viktoria, and she hates Amara (Cailee Spaeny) for joining the PPDC without paying her dues and...that's just about it. Still, as a character her motivations and feelings are clear, and she's not shoved into any especially obnoxious subplots as Mako, Jules and Newt are.

There's definitely potential here for Vik to become a more interesting character in the next film - again, if it happens - as she slowly becomes more trusting of Amara. At the same time, though, she's a middle-tier character purely through not being totally forgettable or being made to do anything embarrassing.
