4. Kaya Scodelario Steals The Show

Skins star Kaya Scodelario frequently steals the show as the movie's female lead, an astronomer by the name of Carina Smyth, who reluctantly heads out with Jack and Will's son Henry (Brenton Thwaites) to hunt down the Trident of Poseidon.

While it initially seems like she might simply be a shameless eye candy role, the script actually does surprisingly well by Carina, giving her a lot of the movie's best lines and allowing her to run rings around her dum-dum male counterparts.

She's basically "the new Keira Knightley" here, and fills that role extremely well, melding beauty with brains and even a little brawn, too. Basically, if she's the new hero of the series, then that's no bad thing, because she's easily the best thing in the entire movie.
