Pixar: Ranking Every Upcoming Film By Anticipation
4. The Good Dinosaur
Who doesn't love dinosaurs? As Inside Out's success showed, audiences are more than happy to turn out for a story about emotions personified, so a film about dinosaurs is a guaranteed win for the company. Between the fact that the company's next is coming in the wake of a summer dominated by the staggering success of a dinosaur film and the simple fact that it's a Pixar film, audiences are undoubtedly going to flock to see it this November.
Armed with a neat teaser and a gorgeous trailer, the film is arriving under the new guidance of director Peter Sohn, who's been a member of the Pixar family ever since 2003's Finding Nemo. While it's had an interesting production history, including the removal of its original director back in 2013, it seems hardly worth worrying about considering Pixar's films have all had long productions and their batting average has only remained more than solid.
It's hard to doubt that, by the end of the year, Arlo the Apatosaurus and Spot the young caveboy will have joined Joy and Depression in winning people over. An original film by Pixar is something to always get excited about, and the fact that it's one in which they finally take on dinosaurs is just icing on the cake.
Release Date: November 25th, 2015.
