7. Spider-Boy Becomes Spider-Man

Much to the delight of lifelong Spider-Fans such as myself, it recently came to light in a behind the scenes teaser for Infinity War that Spidey would indeed be present in the film.

While Spider-Man: Homecoming is unlikely to tie directly into the events of Infinity War, it seems necessary for the sake of logic that we see Peter Parker grow from a young, inexperienced Spidey to one more capable of holding his own. After all the trailer leans pretty heavily on the notion that Peter isn’t ‘ready’ to save the world yet, so seeing him go toe-to-toe with Thanos would be quite the jump from seeing him foil amateur bank robbers and old men in Vulture outfits.

Peter’s relationship with Tony Stark also seems to be an important aspect of Homecoming, with Tony serving as a mentor of sorts for Peter. Who knows? Maybe Spidey could even end up acting as a bridge reconnecting Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, helping to quell the bitterness between them for the greater good.
