After Black Panther’s fantastic debut in Captain America: Civil War blew comic book fans away last year, it’s only natural that fans are clamouring for more of T’Challa, and as it turns out they don’t have all that long to wait.

With Black Panther being the final MCU film to be released before Infinity War, it’s obvious that T’Challa and Wakanda will somehow tie in with the film in one form or another. In fact, Feige has already confirmed this, stating that the film was brought forward since it “links to the next Avengers movies”.

Just how Black Panther links the movies together is completely up in the air however, so let the speculation begin! The most obvious of the possible tie-ins here is of course Wakanda, with their incredibly advanced technology perhaps aiding in the fight against Thanos; let’s not forget that the nation is the MCU’s primary source of vibranium – the near-indestructible metal that comprises Captain America’s iconic shield.

While vibranium might seem like an ineffective weapon against a villain capable of controlling time, space and reality itself, Wakanda may have more to offer than just firepower. Perhaps the technological utopia could serve as a base of operations, being more secluded than the Avengers Tower whilst providing our heroes with the tech necessary to track Thanos’ activity and plan a counterattack.

With Cobie Smulders and Samuel L. Jackson interested in reprising their roles as Maria Hill and Nick Fury in the film, perhaps this could be where they set up shop while they assist the Avengers in their attempt to take down Thanos?
