Predicting 20 Comic Book Movies Announced In 2017

There were a lot of ends loosened by the excellent Doctor Strange movie that you have to think will come back into play in a sequel (or several). We saw Mordo turn from good-natured side-kick to lunatic zealot, vowing to kill all of the Sorcerors, and The Ancient One quite astutely said that all eyes across the multiverse would be turned to Earth now that she is dead.

That's why we can very confidently assume that a sequel will be announced very soon. All that remains is to see whether Marvel will wait for Infinity War to be out of the way to unveil it, or if they'll use Strange's appearance in Thor: Ragnarok as an excuse?

Any Evidence?

It's inevitable as the first film's success, but we've already heard from Scott Derrickson talking about wanting to use Nightmare and Clea in the sequel, so it's a fairly safe assumption it's coming.

Marvel just need a gap in their schedule to unveil the next stage of their plans.
