Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores Of 2026's Biggest Movies
14. The Mandalorian & Grogu (71%)
Star Wars is in quite a tricky spot right now, because outside of Andor's brilliant recent second season there's been little recent enthusiasm for any of its live-action projects.
And so the hype is rather muted for this summer's The Mandalorian and Grogu - a theatrical continuation of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian.
As acclaimed as the show was in its first season in particular, its favour declined considerably by its third, ensuring there's not a surging desire for The Mandalorian and Grogu outside of the die-hard Star Wars fandom.
Many have commented that the trailer looks surprisingly cheap, lacking the special sauce you'd expect from a theatrical Star Wars film and instead feeling like a feature-length Mandalorian TV episode that just so happens to be screening in cinemas.
While it probably won't be panned, expect a lot of three-star reviews and a general perception that it's a passable time-waster - not unlike the broadly positive but unremarkable reviews for Solo (69%) back in 2018.
