Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores Of 2026's Biggest Movies
13. Hoppers (86%)
While most will agree that the days of Pixar releasing back-to-back-to-back masterpieces are long behind us, they can still be relied upon to deliver visually stunning animated films which tug at the heartstrings.
In recent years even their worst-reviewed film, Elemental, landed a solid 73% on the Tomatometer, which speaks to even a lower-tier Pixar movie generally passing the sniff test with most critics.
And Hoppers actually looks like a breath of fresh air, with the delightfully loony premise of an animal lover having her consciousness transferred into a robotic beaver in order to help fend off a construction company.
The trailer looks gorgeous and is packed with laughs, and it also happens to be written by Jesse Andrews, who previously penned Pixar's widely acclaimed 2021 film Luca, while We Bare Bears creator Daniel Chong directs. Those two names alone lend this one a lot of pre-release credibility.
While it likely won't stand among Pixar's finest, Hoppers might well be one of their better-received offerings of the last few years.
