Predicting Box-Office Of Every Disney 2019 Movie
7. Avengers 4 - $2bn
Release Date: May 3
Firstly, we can probably expect that release date to move forward a week to be the same as the U.K date, much like what happened with Infinity War. And also like that movie, we can expect this to be MASSIVE.
Infinity War had one hell of a marketing campaign, and we can expect Marvel to do something very similar for the still-untitled Avengers 4 (including the withholding of the title to further drum up interest). They can properly market this one as the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe too, since it's going to be fully closing the book some 22 chapters in the making (even if there'll be another MCU movie along a couple of months after), so even people who've lapsed or been content watching from home will want to be there for this.
Add in the fact that Infinity War ended on a cliffhanger, and just about everyone should be back (think along the lines of Deathly Hallows Part 1 & 2), so there's little reason to expect this not to repeat the first movie's numbers, although it's difficult to see how much better it could possibly do.
