15. Iron Man 3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ke1Y3P9D0Bc The opening film of Phase Two of Marvel's Cinematic Universe, Iron Man 3 seeks to up the ante in a big way with their most popular character. The trailers for the film have seemed to portray Iron Man 3 as a very gritty kind of film, contrasting previous entries in the Marvel universe. With the relative disappointment that was Iron Man 2 as well Marvel's apparent desire not to rest on its laurels following the Avengers, it seems likely that there is a serious attempt at making Iron Man 3 as good as it can possibly be. With the addition of director Shane Black, director of the underrated Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and starring the brilliant Ben Kingsley as Iron Man's most iconic villain, Iron Man 3 has a good chance at cracking the upper echelons of superhero films and there's little reason to think it will be anything less than spectacular.

I love movies, literature, history, music and the NBA. I love all things nerdy including but not limited to Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Firefly. My artistic idols are Dylan, Dostoevsky, and Malick and my goal in life is to become like Bernard Black from Black Books. When I die, I hope to turn into the space baby from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
