12. The Wolf of Wall Street
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mymB9OBr120 Martin Scorsese's latest collaboration with Leonardo DiCaprio follows a New York stockbroker who refuses to go along with the corruption on Wall Street. Featuring the writer of many of the Sopranos episodes, one of the best modern actors, one of the most legendary directors of all time, and a topic that is completely relevant for our time, The Wolf of Wall Street is another early frontrunner for the Oscars. Leonardo DiCaprio takes on one of his most ambitious roles as he plays real life stockbroker Jordan Belfort, a role that will likely warrant serious consideration for Best Actor. The Wolf of Wall Street also features recent Oscar winner Jean Dujardin as well as Matthew McConaughey. Scorsese has rarely made a bad film and The Wolf of Wall Street looks to be his best in years, automatically placing it among the years most anticipated.

I love movies, literature, history, music and the NBA. I love all things nerdy including but not limited to Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Firefly. My artistic idols are Dylan, Dostoevsky, and Malick and my goal in life is to become like Bernard Black from Black Books. When I die, I hope to turn into the space baby from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
