11. Robin Williams Saves The Day - Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle

The Ending: Just when it seems like the new team of adventurers is doomed to remain in Jumanji forever, they're bailed out by a deus ex machina set in motion by Robin Williams' Alan Parrish (off-screen, of course).

Jack Black has already gone on record to state that though Parrish doesn't physically appear in the new Jumanji movie, he does have a powerful presence throughout, leaving clues for the new group to find as they attempt to finish the game and return home.

This, combined with the numerous statements that the film will have a significant tribute to the late Williams, suggests some sort of attempt at a poignant climax, likely nodding to his character by having a trinket from the original movie, maybe even the board game itself, show up to somehow fix things.

Whether it works or not, there's little doubt the new film's going to milk the Williams association for everything it's worth.
