Predicting The Post-Credits Scenes Of Every Major 2018 Comic-Book Movie

3. A Silver & Black Tease - Venom

The Movie: Venom is perhaps 2018's most curious comic-book movie, given that it's not clear if or how it connects to Marvel's cinematic universe.

It's a Sony Pictures production - the same company that owns the rights to Spider-Man, and the same company that allowed Spider-Man to play in the Avengers ballpark. So will the studio allow Venom to do the same?

We probably won't find that out for a while, but in the meantime, Sony is producing a whole host of Spidey spinoffs, with Silver & Black up next after Venom.

The Post-Credits Scene: With Sony's apparent determination to push their own little cinematic universe as hard as possible, it would make a world of sense for Venom to tease the upcoming Silver & Black.

While it's not known how Spider-Man and The Avengers will factor into all this (if at all) it's widely expected that Venom will eventually bump into other characters that Sony has the rights to, and with Silver & Black already announced, the rational thought is that the studio already has plans for a team-up.

Plus, Silver Sable and Black Cat aren't exactly well-known characters, so putting them at the end of Venom - which stars Tom Hardy, so will have a lot of eyeballs on it - is logical.

Anyway, teasing Silver & Black seems like the only choice for a post-credits scene here. At the minute, it's not clear if there's even anywhere else for Sony's cinematic universe to go.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
