4. Wasp Meets The Avengers - Ant-Man And The Wasp
The Movie: Ant-Man And The Wasp will find the MCU's newly-introduced female heroine - Hope van Dyne, aka The Wasp - teaming up with Ant-Man to take on an important mission.
Though Hope was a major player in the first Ant-Man, the upcoming sequel will be the first time we see her don the Wasp costume. The character will almost certainly join the Avengers at some point, whether at the end of this movie, or the end of this movie's credits.
The Post-Credits Scene: We already know that Wasp won't be in Avengers: Infinity War, but actress Evangeline Lilly has mentioned that she'll pop up in Avengers 4.
As a result, the safe money is on this post-credits scene linking Wasp with the Avengers - we could see her meet Tony, or walk into the New Avengers facility for the first time. Iron Man, Cap and the gang will need all the help they can get, so this would be a great, rousing moment that tips the odds further in favour of the good guys.
Though we don't yet know when Ant-Man And The Wasp takes place - whether before Infinity War, after Infinity War, or both - it doesn't really matter. If it takes place before Infinity War, this scene could jump ahead to after Infinity War, since post-credits scenes are allowed to be separate, isolated, or in a different timeline if necessary.
