Project Power Review: 6 Ups & 4 Downs

1. The Slightly Underwhelming Third Act

Though the first two-thirds of the movie maintain a thrilling forward-momentum for the most part, it does have to be said that it slips into a more conventional action film groove in its final act.

Without giving away quite what happens, the final collision between the heroes and villains ends up feeling a bit too much like a cast-off set-piece from a Bond movie - albeit with an added dose of CGI-fuelled superhero bombast.

It's certainly not bad or even a chore to watch, but just feels a little more familiar than everything which preceded it, and becomes more of a generic blockbuster actioner for that final 30-or-so minutes.

These gripes aside, Project Power gets a lot right. Here's why you should watch it...
