Project X: 5 Reasons Why It's A Nasty Piece of Filmmaking

1. An Un-Funny Comedy

project x(1) Whilst not its worst offence, this put the final nail in the coffin. For a film that advertises itself as a comedy, it is devoid of all laughs (probably as it is devoid of human emotion). If you find putting midgets in ovens, tieing dogs to balloons, mindless swearing for its own sake, and the snide comments from king-of-comedy Costa hilarious then maybe I€™m out of touch with what passes for comedy. It€™s not funny, not clever and a horrible piece of filmmaking. With Project X 2 rumours flying around, I€™m sure it won€™t be long before we get to see this all abhorrence again. Project X should have remained exactly that, something which is hidden away, known to only a few people, and a project. Not mainstream filmmaking. Cinema has never seen such lows.
