Ranking 9 Biggest Two-Part Movies From Worst To Best

6. Twilight: Breaking Dawn

Harry Potter Deathly Hallows
Summit Entertainment

Twilight may not be the most fondly remembered film series but these their finale gets more right than many would expect.

A lot of this is thanks to director Bill Condon, who makes the finale much more certifiably strange than any of the previous films. Part I of Breaking Dawn is essentially a long, lusty meditation on sexual desires and violence. It's a better Fifty Shades movie than any of the Fifty Shades films could ever dream of being.

By allowing this first film to breathe and end on the cliffhanger of Bella turning into a vampire, Condon gives the two-part finale a strong starting point. Sadly, the second part falls off the wagon a bit in having to deal with some of the book's clunkier moments, such as Jacob falling in love with an infant.

So it's not a great finale by any means, but it is an absolute high-mark for the franchise.
