Money, like life, will always find a way. If something is bought in spades in one medium, Hollywood will invariably notice and buy up the rights, whether it's necessary or not. Even when it's not actually logistically all that possible.
Angry Birds admittedly works in a broad narrative sense, because it's based on a war between birds and pigs and you can use that as a framework for some child-friendly japes. And that's pretty much all you get from The Angry Birds Movie. It's disposable fun for stunted and undeveloped minds, it's never a funny as it thinks it is, and its cynical money grab shows a lot.
Right, now that's out of our system, can we just not turn every successful app into a movie? Cease with the Fruit Ninja silliness. And PLEASE don't even think about Mobile Strike or Clash Of Clans.
