Ranking All Friday The 13th Final Girls From Worst To Best

3. Tina Shepard - Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood

One could make an argument for Tina Shepard (Lar Park Lincoln) as being the best final girl in the Friday the 13th franchise for the fact that she's the most powerful, dominant protagonist that Jason Voorhees has ever come up against.

Of course, Tina is a character who is essentially the series' Carrie White. Complete with telekinetic abilities, it's almost an unfair fight to see Tina fight Jason - as you can't help feeling that Voorhees is the underdog in this battle.

When looking at the other final girls of the franchise, they have to use their smarts, their will to survive, any weapons that are to hand, and hope that Lady Luck is looking favourably in their direction. For Tina, it almost felt like cheating to have someone with the powers of a superhero squaring off with Jason.

To be fair, Tina does have a tragic backstory to her name, with her abilities having first surfaced as part of an accident that killed her father when she was still a child. Added to that, she's abused and berated by her psychiatrist.

As The New Blood rolls to a close, Tina pulls inspiration from her trauma, electrocuting Jason, collapsing a house on him, shattering his mask, and having her dead father's spirit drag Voorhees to the bottom of Camp Crystal Lake.
