Ranking All Of Sean Bean's Movie Deaths From Lamest To Best

9. Carvaggio - Sliced Throat

Carvaggio is a fictional portrayal of Italian artists Michelangelo Merisi da Carvaggio who scandalously used homeless people and sex workers as muses for his artistic creations. But that's not the only scandal that ol' Carvaggio was involved with, he was also romantically involved with two different lovers simultaneously, Lena and Ranuccio (Sean Bean).

Ranuccio and Lena are both in love with Carvaggio and, when he realises that Carvaggio no longer loves him, he kills Lena in the heat of passion. When he admits to the murder, Carvaggio slices Ranuccio's throat for killing his one true love.

It's truly gruesome and the lead up to the death is beautifully acted. The rawness of the scene makes the slashing seem a lot more real and deserves to be recognised alongside Bean's best deaths.

Not to mention the heartbreaking moment when, as Ranuccio falls to his death, Carvaggio catches him and embraces him which, for a moment, makes it look like they are slow dancing together.
