Ranking All The Major SDCC 2016 Movie Trailers From Worst To Best

6. The Lego Batman Movie

Comic Con Trailers
Warner Bros. Pictures

People have gone crazy for the Lego Batman trailers, although each one's only served to get me less excited for a film that coming out of The Lego Movie I'd have given my right arm piece to see straight away. That's not to say I'm no longer looking forward to it or that I haven't enjoyed the footage so far, just that what is out there hasn't quite clicked like the concept could and should have (and seems to actually have with others).

Now, being fair, the Comic-Con trailer's the best of the lot, meaning that worst case scenario the film will probably still be satisfying (remember that The Lego Movie looked pretty iffy); it finally shows a bit of the plot - Bruce Wayne's ward takes up the Reggae Man costume and becomes Robin - and gives a better sense of the world. I just wish they'd release something that doesn't have an irritating musical score tacked on in a desperate attempt to appear modern; then perhaps I'll finally be singing this one from the rooftops.
