2. Captain America: Civil War

RottenTomatoes Score: 94% (8.0/10)

Box Office: Though we won't have a full picture of how well the movie will open compared to Avengers: Age of Ultron until it releases in the U.S. next week, Civil War has been cooking up a storm internationally and, short of a disaster, won't gross less than $1.3 billion when it's all said in done, far in excess of its $150-200 million budget.

Verdict: The best movie in the MCU second only to The Avengers, Civil War delivers on the promises of its title with a superhero showdown for the ages, all while further developing Iron Man and Captain America as human beings.

By far the most thoughtful and mature MCU film to date, it probes the consequences of unchecked heroism all while serving up a ton of insane action that's easily among the best of any superhero film to date. Roll on Infinity War...
