Ranking August 2015's Movies From Worst To Best

14. Hitman: Agent 47

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 9% (3.6/10) Box Office: Made for a modest $35 million, Hitman opened to $8.7 million in its first weekend, way down from the previous Hitman's $13.1 million opening weekend. While it'll probably make its budget back when factoring in international releases, it's not going to reach anywhere near the $100 million box office of the 2007 film. The Verdict: Somehow even less faithful to the iconic video game than the previous movie, Hitman: Agent 47 takes the stealthy assassin and turns him into an over-the-top action hero forced to shoot his way through a generic and laughably over-the-top narrative. The film focuses more on Agent 47's (Rupert Friend) clone sister (Hannah Ware) than the guy everyone came to see, the action sequences are bathed in awful CGI, the acting and dialogue are both terrible (Zachary Quinto, shame on you), and the Audi product placement makes Jurassic World and Ant-Man's corporate shilling look subtle by comparison.
