Ranking Every Animated Batman Film From Worst To Best

8. Batman: Assault On Arkham

Batman: Assault on Arkham is, quite frankly, the good Suicide Squad movie that the DCEU never gave us. It is everything that film should have been. Batman himself is more a secondary player this time around, but that works perfectly fine considering the nature of the plot.

This is another film that lands on the adult-oriented end of the spectrum and gives us the exactly the type of wonderful chaos that a heist film where the bad guys run the show should. Task Force X (which is, for all intents and purposes, the Suicide Squad) truly get a genuine chance to shine here, in addition to the action being exceptionally animated and the voice actors giving it their all.

Sure, the story in this film isn't exactly the deepest, but it was never supposed to be. It's just a well-made cavalcade of chaos that utilizes almost all of the characters to their fullest, delivers on the story it does have, and will leave any fan of Batman and his villains satisfied.

A film-loving wrestling fan from west Texas who will live and die by the statement that Return of the Jedi is the best Star Wars movie and unironically cherishes the brief moment and time when Deuce & Domino were WWE Tag Team Champions. Hates honey, but loves honey mustard.
