28. Green Lantern
It's incredible to think that Warner Bros looked at Green Lantern - one of DC's most enduringly popular characters, and decided that THIS was the right way to go.
As ever, casting Ryan Reynolds was a good idea, and even having Mark Strong as villain-to-be Sinestro was a great move for the future movies that never happened, but everything else was a sloppy mess of bad story-telling, an over-reliance on not-very-good special effects and a curious lack of sympathetic notes or charisma.
Reynolds is okay, but he fails to register on the sympathetic scale and he's a bit too much of a dick to actually root for, and everyone else (other than Strong) is instantly forgettable against the green screen background. And the villain was literally a cloud of poop. So...
