Ranking Every DC Movie Villain From Worst To Best

35. Enchantress - Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad)

DC Villains Updated
Warner Bros.

The casting of Cara Delevingne as June Moone/Enchantress is so baffling it's obscene. Sure, she looks good and the costume suits someone who works on their figure constantly (unfortunately), but she offers precisely nothing of substance. And that's despite having apparently immersed herself in preparation for the role by getting naked and cavorting in a forest.

As June Moone she's all but edited down to an emotional, perpetually quivering bottom lip, and then as Enchantress, she's over-dubbed with a ludicrous booming British accent while she dances around in front of her magic machine, remembering the time she spent in the forest, probably.

In terms of motivation, she's also broken. That isn't exactly helped by having a script that breaks its own rules (making her controlled by her heart, only until it's better for the plot if she's not), but her motivation to create this giant vague "machine" is entirely missing. And it's a pretty terrible, paint-by-numbers villain plot anyway.
