Ranking Every Disney Animated Movie From Worst To Best!
19. Lady And The Tramp (1955)
This was a rare case of a widely-acclaimed movie actually managing to exceed expectations.
Lady & The Tramp takes the overdone "Romeo & Juliet" narrative and turns it into an organic, darling romance story. Every character in this movie is likeable, this is the first Disney movie without any filler scenes, and everything in it feels cohesive and well put together. The music is really good, too, with highlights being "He's a Tramp" (sung by jazz legend Peggy Lee) and "Bella Notte".
Of course, however, one cannot talk about this movie without talking about its dated depictions of Asian culture via the Siamese cats. But honestly, that's really the only major gripe with this movie.
