Ranking Every Disney Animated Movie From Worst To Best!
18. Lilo And Stitch (2002)
This is a special movie.
It's a shockingly-honest depiction of loss and grief and the innumerable ways it can manifest itself into action. Lilo, herself, is a brilliantly-written character. Like, honestly, she may be the most accurate depiction of a child in an animated movie. And Stitch is awesome, too. He has an incredible design that appeals to everyone, and his journey towards learning that he has a purpose beyond what he was created for is just so moving to watch.
They probably could have (and should have) steered away from a lot of the sci-fi elements of the movie, though, as those tended to be the weaker parts of the film. But they don't take away from it too much.
