No, but really, the real transformation happens as he and unlikely-ally Pacha venture back to the palace. Over time, he "transforms" into someone who is empathetic, humble, but above all else - human. It's joyous to watch.

But yeah, of course, the big draw of this movie is how genuinely hilarious it is. Especially the villains, Yzma and Kronk, who have provided us a treasure trove of memes over the years.
