Ranking EVERY James Bond Henchman From Worst To Best
12. Dario (Licence To Kill, 1989)
If Bond henchmen usually make a name for themselves via the threats they pose, the outfits they wear, or the catchphrases they spout, Dario generally edges it based on his loathsome nature - viewers of Licence to Kill can't wait for him to bite the dust.
For starters, the sadistic creep openly laughs about raping and killing Felix Leiter's wife - an act that sends James Bond roaring for revenge.
As played by Benicio Del Toro, drug lord Franz Sanchez's lieutenant also comports himself with a sense of sneering disdain for life, more concerned with inflicting pain and suffering on the world than living.
Usually found brandishing a switchblade, Dario is one of the few characters to whom Sanchez speaks with affection - no doubt due to his loyalty, if not his insane affinity for violence.
He's also quite happy to out Bond as an imposter who's attempting to infiltrate Sanchez's empire, so long as it means a gruesome fate for Her Majesty's Finest.
Dario's various transgressions have the audience demanding a grisly death - and their calls for blood are surely satisfied after he's brutally mashed into paste by a cocaine grinder.
No tears were shed - if anyone deserves such a fate, it's Dario.
