Ranking Every Live-Action Superman Suit From Worst To Best
8. Justice League Theatrical Cut Suit
The suit in the Justice League Theatrical Cut is another modified version of the Man of Steel one. The big plus side is that it has the most saturated colors among the suits in the modern DC Extended Universe so far. A bright colorful suit represents hope better than a drab dark one from what we got from Man of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The negative part is the muscle suit underneath - rather the addition of the silver plating on the muscle suit so that Clark's definition will have a luminous silver glow effect to it. It might be a creative way to enhance the presentation of The Man of Steel's rip body, but it also makes it obviously fake.
Without knowledge of any behind-the-scenes trivia about the suit, the rips of Clark's body just look air-brushed on. It does not do any favors that The Justice League Theatrical Cut's cinematography and post-production color correction reveal too much information on every superhero's costume.
All these combined forces make for an ugly-looking costume by cinematic standards.
