Ranking Every Magnificent Seven Character From Worst To Best
2. Emma Cullen (Haley Bennett)
A great role for a woman in a Hollywood blockbuster that doesn't focus too much on how hot she is or make her a damsel in distress? Rejoice!
Haley Bennett does a terrific job conveying the heartbreak of her husband's (Matt Bomer) death at the hands of Bogue and his men, and best of all, she actually gets to shoot a gun in the movie's finale and proves an effective combatant, even killing Bogue.
Yes, she's beautiful, but the movie doesn't leer at her too much and basically engages with her as a character more than a slab of meat, which is pretty damn refreshing in a $100 million movie.
She's not only a great character, but one of the movie's highlights and much more compelling than almost all of the actual team.
