Ranking Every Major Female MCU Character From Worst To Best

5. Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly)

Hank Pym's daughter Hope is everything you'd hope for from a Marvel femme fatale: she's smart, sassy and knows how to throw a punch.

Though her kinda-romance with Scott Lang is ultimately wildly unnecessary, it works well enough due to Evangeline Lilly's chemistry with Paul Rudd, and the movie's mid-credits tease of the Wasp suit makes it pretty blatantly clear she's going to have a much more pivotal, action-orientated role in future MCU movies.

Even so, she makes a distinct impression in this one movie, running rings around the men in her vicinity, including her father, the villainous Yellowjacket and even Ant-Man himself. A quintessential strong, independent woman.
